Spire Systems Requirements

Below are the recommended hardware requirements for running Spire

Spire Desktop

  • Windows 10 64-bit (not Home editions)
  • Windows 11 64-bit (not Home editions)
  • Windows Server 2016 64-bit
  • Windows Server 2019 64-bit
  • Windows Server 2022 64-bit

Minimum

Recommended
2.4 GHz processor i5 or 3.06 GHz processor
8 GB RAM 16 GB RAM
Display with native resolution of 1366×768 or higher (multiple displays and high DPI displays supported) 1920×1080 or higher
Keyboard and pointing device for data entry (Desktop interface does not currently support touch) Keyboard and pointing device for data entry (Desktop interface does not currently support touch)
1000 Mbps network required to use Spire Desktop on a Local Area Network Gigabit network

Spire Server

  • Windows 10 64-bit (not Home editions)

It is HIGHLY recommended that Spire Server and Spire data are installed in the System Drive

12 GB RAM available for Spire. (Remote Desktop Server and/or Exchange Server will need additional RAM) 16-32 GB RAM (or more)

Light use of Spire Server implementations can use Minimum requirements however implementations of 5+ users or database of 1+ GB, should use Recommended requirements
